Mommy attire

So, I'm 31 years old and I've never left my house in my pajamas, EVER! I've seen other women do it and I think, Wow! That's lazy! However, I'm feeling a little lazy these days. I am a 31 yr old single mom. I'm TIRED! I'm sick of making myself look cute just to run to the grocery store (even though there is a cute japanese guy who works there) to get my daughter milk and whatever. So, to all those pajama wearing moms in the grocery store...more props to ya. Who cares anymore!

mmmmmm. Mexican food.

Today was my mother's birthday so my brother took the whole family out to eat at Las Margaritas. I ate entirely too much. Avery was eating black beans with her fingers. Her face, hands and fingernails were all black. All the latinos were smiling and laughing at her. One guy even picked her up saying "So cute. So cute." It was funny. My mom had a nice time and ultimately that's what matters.

Now I must study pharmaceutical stuff. Fun, I know! But I have 2 midterms this week, 3 research papers that are due soon and a National Cert. Exam to study for.*breath* ............*sigh*

A little bit of a delay

So, I was trying to make my move from Maryland to North Carolina in mid December, however, there has been a delay with closing on the house so it's going to take a little longer than expected. My brother is going to be back in 6 months to move his stuff, so I will be able to go ahead and move in before he stores anything.

I'm trying not to get stressed out, just focusing on finishing this semester at school and working to try and save some money. The main difficulty is going to be getting a job. I'm going to plan a trip down mid December to move some things not needed here down there and to also go to some interviews and possibly do any sort of drug screenings. Sucks when you work in a medical field!

I'm still VERY excited about moving although I have a million and one things to do before that actually happens. I guess I have more time to figure out exactly how I want the place to be! yay!

I cannot wait until I move in here! I will enjoy my nightly make up removal routine in here. :) I'm going to LOVE the giant tub too!

After 4 months

An unusual 11pm phone call last night let me a renewed friendship.
I hadn't talked with him since June, and here we are in mid October.
He had missed me, and I had missed him too, but we didn't end on good terms.
He had wanted to call me before this night, but didn't, and neither did I. That is how 4 months slipped away. He came over, we talked for hours and now I think things are okay. It was very surreal to see him. I think deep down he is a good guy, but he does things which annoy me, so for now, I am going to leave my guard WAY up and focus on moving, school and my little lovely lady!

She's growing so fast! I just cannot believe all the things she comprehends and does now. She's talking a lot more now too. She's sooooo great! I love her more and more with each passing moment. She is my TRUE love!
